Some inspiration for mealtimes
Fully Loaded Cheeseburger
Keep it simple with all the classic ingredients.
Fresh crisp red onion and tangy gerkins with a top bit of cheddar, awesome. It’s all about the getting the build of the burger in the right order for the perfect bite each time.
- Feasters Quarter Pounder
- Sesame seeded or glazed brioche bun
- Slices of good quality cheddar cheese or rich edam
- Small handful of washed lettuce leaves
- 3 slices of fresh tomato
- 1 sliced ring of red onion
- Handfull of chopped gherkins
- Tomato sauce
- American mustard
- Small handful of washed lettuce leaves
- Cook the Feasters Quarter Pounder as instructed on pack
- Toast the bus in a hot griddle pan or under the grill (just toast the cut side)
- Spread the mustard on the bottom half and the ketchup on the top half
- Layer the lettuce on the bottom half
- On top of the lettuce place the burger and top with the cheese
- Then layer on the tomatoes, gherkin and red onion, in that order, trust us!
- Serve with some skinny French fries, some tangy coleslaw or a nice cajun mayo dip!
If you like it with a bit more ‘oomph’, use English mustard instead of American, or even a dash of nice and spicy tabasco – yeah boy!
BBQ Rodeo Burger
Smoky streaky bacon, crispy onion rings and tangy BBQ sauce.
Saddle-up for a taste of a real American Rodeo! Smokey streaky bacon, crispy onion rings and a sweet BBQ sauce make the BBQ Rodeo burger one you’ll want to keep hold of – Yeehaw!
- Feasters Quarter Pounder
- Sesame seeded bun
- American cheese slice
- 2 or 3 rashers of streaky bacon
- 1 sliced ring of red onion
- 3 or 4 breaded or battered onion rings
- Honey BBQ sauce
- American mustard
- Cook the Feasters Quarter Pounder as instructed on pack
- Toast the bus in a hot griddle pan or under the grill (just toast the cut side)
- Spread the BBQ Sauce on both halves of the bun
- Layer the smokey streaky bacon on the bottom half, adding sliced red onion if desired
- Spread the mustard on top of the bacon
- Next place the cheese covered Quarter Pounder on top of the mustard
- Set the breaded onion rings into the cheese
Why not add some Jalapeno Peppers or some chopped ghost pepper chillies to give your Rodeo that extra kick!
